Do a ban on assault rifles infringe on the second amendment Research Paper

Do a ban on assault rifles infringe on the second amendment - look into Paper ExampleSo many pile have died and children have not been spargond either. Most of the victims whitethorn be lucky to be taken to the hospital, solely in most cases, they die immediately. Now that the occurrence of tragedy after tragedy seems to be the new trend, this is now the most appropriate time to hash out the issue of gun use in America, more specifically, among the civilians. The recent ban on assault rifle by the president is encouraging and shows that perhaps things may soon turn out well. However, critics argon now stating that the ban is likely to infringe on the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment Stipulates that people should have a advanced to bear arms which should not be infringed. According to Charles, the Second Amendment is a right that shall not be infringed (8). Charles indicates that most people interpret the statement as one that should not be changed and view it as a right (8) . Years ago, in 1940s and 1950s, guns were deemed as a legal way of the elite protecting their families, or in a position to secure themselves from thieves and wanted criminals. However, today people depend on the police and the army for defense, raising the chief as to whether people need these guns anymore. Why there should be a Ban on Rifles and other Guns A ban on the rifles would be facilitatory to the safety agencies when it comes to rooting out all the terror threats that civilians may receive on a domestic level. It would be easier to have the agencies getting this issue low control with the existence of a ban. This is because instead of the agencies worrying about how the assault rifle owners argon likely to react or behave, they are likely to identify more effort and save time while controlling the issue. In addition, the individual privacy of American would be on the increase as untold as their security is likely to increase. Unwarranted searches in peoples homes an d gun violence would decrease drastically. Contrary to what most civilians assume, the Second Amendment only applies to active voice duty personnel who are in the militia (Alters 46). This and then means that the proponents who usually argue that banning the assault rifles violates the rights as stipulated in the Second Amendment are wrong. There are also the critics who argue that laws controlling guns are only there as a restriction on the freedom of Americans. There are also those who argue out that such aggressive ban rules are likely to result to an increase of trade in the black market and therefore have a negative impact. These are some of the arguments that most critics present and have little weight on the main goal of maintaining the security of people and saving human lives. All guns, whether rifles or hand guns present clear problems to the society and this outweighs the issue of human freedom or the black market. When the right to lifetime is threatened, the right to freedom can no longer be said to be effective. A person who is threatened with the possibility of crossing paths with a mentally ill person with a gun is likely to lose his or her right to live and therefore will not be in a position to enjoy freedom rights. There are laws that have been enacted over the years to regulate the use of firearms but do not seem to call on (Alters 45). It is not shocking to know that assault rifles are involved in homicides as well since in most cases they can fire automatically. If there are laws controlling gun possession, then this means that safety agencies are twice likely to monitor the activity of civilians as compared to if the

It is not considered primarily a system of government or even a dash of life since democracy has several prerequisites in terms of the level of civilization which a particular group of people must have before they locoweed implement democracy. Perhaps that is why history records an age of kings before the time of the elected philosopher kings was recommended by social scientists. A certain level of sophistication in terms of culture and the way of life is an essential fate for the establishment of democracy. In fact, this level of social sophistication is so important that it has been suggested that The first and critical variables to which political scientists must direct their attention are social and not constitutional (Dahl 1956, Pg. 31). The problem comes into play when we notice that the demands of a truly democratic system can only be met by only a few countries. Very few cultures can lay a rightful claim to a Majoritarian model since the prerequisites are so high. On the same page, Dahl makes the observation thatTo say that perfect attainment of political equality and popular sovereignty is, by definition of terms, consistent only with the majority principle is not to enunciate a wholly useless proposition, but neither is it very helpful. (Dahl 1956, Pg. 31)The Majoritarian model depends on several things which must be present in a system before such a democracy can be established. The first requirement is a mass pa rticipation in politics by people who know how

Their agreement with China which allows their search engine to be censored was the most controversial of their moves. This move is actually not in the best interest of its end-users and is seen by many as limiting freedom of diction and liberty itself. Its ongoing battle with AT&T is also indicative of its changing standards. It seems Google has changed its stance from disinterest to the survival of the fittest. While they once advocated net neutrality principles it is now increasingly more focused on putting its own interests first. In a way they are effectively crushing small firms and even off large competition because of its biased and tyrannical attitude. What was once a motto no longer applies for Google it seems at the end of the day there is massive copyright and trademark infringement through the search engine that is allowed and goes unchecked by the firm. Pornography and other disturbing elements are not only widely purchasable but also advertised. So the question is, was the principle only a catchy slogan? It seems it was.

Issues had been raised regarding the implementation of the said strategy but nevertheless, an estimate of ccc million people would have added to Chinas population if the policy was not applied. In less than three decades, China achieved a far more advanced regeneration in terms of demography, an area wherein other developed countries spend cent uries to attain. According to the countrys Census, the fundamental population of China as of 2000 is 1,242,610,000. Hand-in-hand with this is a relatively low broad(a) fertility rate of 1.2 which is a lot less than the figures previously reported. These records made an impact to people by raising speculations whether the results were reliable or not. Majority of the countrys population believed that the Census might have underestimated the accurate population count of China stating, too, that many of the younger members of countrys inhabitants especially the newborns were not reported and registered in Chinas Census. The population figures and total fertility rate reported by the Census, whether it contained underestimated and unreported data, are still far less than the possible rate of population replacement of 2.1. At this point, the countrys population would be described as steady or stationary. Therefore, no matter what the reported values were, it is undoubtedly evident that China was able to control the

It gives companies the chance to be closer to both its target market and resources 4. Reduces the cost of production 5. Provides an opportunity for the organisation to utilise its location for its competitive advantage (Boone & Kurtz, 2006 Hoogstra and van Dijk 2004 Roslin and Rosnan 2012). However, match to Roslin and Rosnan (2012), the impact of location has been downplayed not only by scholars but also by organisations themselves. Locational decision has been normally made not in view of organisational schema and tactic, but often in terms of profit and cost saving measures (Blair and Premus 1998). Besides, there is an unresolved ambiguity between location and environment which results in a superficial study of location especially in the retail sector (Clarke and Hallsworth 1994) Furthermore, this is evident when it comes to small and medium size enterprises. Although the notion of location seems to be a fundamental factor affecting the dynamics and dynamism of the firm, small enterprises are not given the ample guidance and help in making the admit location decision. This observation becomes more serious as it is acknowledged that there is no best or perfect location
